Welcome to the home of Seattle Zombies – an online hub for all things Zombie in and around the greater Seattle area.
There is so much happening in Seattle for zombies, we feel blessed to be in a wierd wacky place that could support such a strange group.
The group was formed in 2005 by Zombie Cleo who started this madness, since the begining of seattle zombie walks we have lead walks to and around the Fremont Outdoor Cinemas. Over the years we have done walks all over the area including University District, Capitol Hill, West Seattle and several other locations. Eric Pope has been helping Cleo since the begining and took over when Cleo decided to focus more on her artistic career in 2008.

The Seattle Zombie Walk has continued to shuffle around the region often setting walks around conventions, movie opening nights and other strange events. Ryan Reiter of Fremont Outdoor Cinemas joined the Zombie team as an outstanding zombie producer, organizing the Red White and Dead party which lead to Seattle Breaking the World Record on July 3rd 2009 with 3,894 zombies! The bloody and framed record didn’t even have time to collect dust on it when England broke the World Record by a rave in england called the ‘Big Chill Festival’ with 4,026 Zombies. Not to be beaten by the British, the Seattle Zombies reunited and beat that record again on July 3rd 2010 by 4200 zombies. The record just keeps changing hands from city to city as the zombie plague spreads far and wide.

In the fall of 2010, Seattle Zombies supported Ryan Reiter as he organized Seattle’s first zombie convention ZomBcon which brought Bruce Cambell, George Romero and several other famous celebrities. The event was a huge success and for 2011 we will be bringing you Bill Moseley, Rose McGowan, and many more. The Seattle Zombies may shamble but they have not lost their stride, continuing to gather for zombie walks several times a year… Come and join the zombie horde!!!
